COMMUNITY OVERVIEWWadi Alshabak spans 10.5 sq. km. in a semi-desert area of central-northern Dubai. Under the Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment programme, 1,315 plots, totalling 232 hectares, were allocated in 2018 for Emirati citizens in Wadi Alshabak.
It is one of the few sites in Dubai where long-term camping is permitted. The only accessible route for public transport is the E 16 bus line, which connects Al Sabkha bus station with Hatta and travels along Al Awir Road (E 44) on the southern side of the neighbourhood.
